Steven Tolliday is Professor of Economic and Social History at the University of Leeds, UK. His research covers 20th century British business, economic and social history, including industry and finance in interwar Britain, the global automobile industry, and the economic and social history of postwar Japan. He is a past editor of Business History Review and is currently European Editor of the journal Enterprise & Society.
