Andrew Popp

I am a Senior Lecturer in the University of Liverpool Management School. An historian of British business my work currently focuses on the history of commercial travellers in Britain and on the writing of entrepreneurial narratives/biography. I also have an interest in the relationship between business history and management sciences. I have published extensively in the leading business history journals, principally on the history and dynamics of industrial clustering in England, and in the fields of economic and historical geography and organization studies. First winner of the Coleman Prize, I have served on the council of the Association of Business Historians as Newsletter Editor and am currently Reviews editor at /Business History/. I am the local organizer for the 2009 Annual Conference of the ABH, to be held in Liverpool in July of this year.
