Coleman Prize Winner

Lisa Jack

Dr Lisa Jack is Lecturer in Accounting at the University of Essex. Before entering academic life, she qualified as an accountant and worked as an auditor in both the private and public sectors. Teaching at an agricultural college started an interest in accounting in agriculture and food industries past and present, which now forms the basis of her current research. An interest in history goes back to undergraduate days, when she studied Classical Greek and Mathematics at Keele University. Lisa is currently extending the scope of the historical study which won the Coleman Prize to cover New Zealand, Australia and the United States, and global issues in the agri-food industry.
